Normally Closed contactors guarantee a fail-safe closed circuit, keeping critical systems powered until switched off. They are common in safety systems and fixed loads.

The difference lies in how the contacts behave:

• NO contactors start open and close when energized.
• NC contactors start closed and open when energized.
• 2NO/2NC contactors provide a mix of both, offering greater flexibility for dual operations in HVAC, motor control, and automation.

• Normally Open contactors are commonly used for variable loads such as motors, HVAC systems, and lighting.

• Normally Closed contactors are used for fixed or safety-critical loads, ensuring continuity until intentionally deactivated.
